Wonderworks - Pigeon Forge's newest attraction is the Wonderworks Museum. It is fun for kids of every age. Beginning with the wild and wacky upside-down entrance the building itself looks as if it has been dropped on its head, and the lobby features an upside-down staircase leading to a roof that looks like a floor! visitors are guaranteed a unique experience.

Once inside, there are lots of interactive activities ranging from safecracking to discovering one's "true" age (as opposed to one's actual age). You can sit at a table in a restaurant and experience an earthquake, see what gale force hurricane winds feel like, and try to lift your weight by raising a bike on a rope and this is all in the first room!

Next, you can climb a rock wall, sit in a race car and check your reflexes by responding to red and green lights, pedal your way 360 degrees on a flying bicycle, see how high you can jump and test your hand strength, and avoid dangerous sea creatures in a virtual reality water tank but the fun is just beginning!

There is much more to discover and experience in the museum. A 3-D movie, flight simulators, guessing games, a bubble room where you can make enormous bubbles, a roller coaster ride, a bed of nails to lie on, a gallery of unusual pictures. If you make it upstairs, there is an entire arcade to enjoy.

Wonderworks is sure to please everyone, and your visit to Pigeon Forge will be enhanced by the unique quality of its exhibits.

Scottish Festival & Games - Gatlinburg Scottish Festival and Games take place during the latter part of May each year. Mills Park, off 321, in Gatlinburg. Clans meeting featuring professional and amateur Highland athletics, bagpipe competitions, Highland dancing, border collie demonstrations, entertainment, whiskey tasting, food and merchandise vendors.
